Christina, I met you while on our tour in Oxford today. I have already purchased your book. It will be waiting for me when I return to PA. I am woefully inadequate in addressing the complexity of human rights issues, particularly in terms of women's rights, rights for women who struggle to survive and know love, life, and freedom. However, in my field, which is nursing, women in so many countries struggle for recognition, rights as professionals, and safety while serving the most vulnerable, the impoverished in their countries. From their stories, I have learned the importance of allowing change to occur from within. Education is key. I recently heard a nurse quote a woman from the Middle East who said she wants to, \... sit at the table.\ She wants a voice at the table where decisions are made. This woman sees education as the key to power. Thank you for awakening our senses to the needs of women, especially those who are young and exploited. Joan Miller, Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA.
